Summary

This early-stage study tests whether a low dose of colchicine, a medicine usually used for gout, can safely reduce skin redness and pain caused by radiation therapy in people with head and neck cancer. About 30 participants take one pill daily during their radiation treatment. The goal is to see if this approach can ease a common side effect that currently has no approved treatment.
