Summary

This study tests whether the drug colchicine can prevent atrial fibrillation (a type of irregular heartbeat) after heart bypass surgery. Researchers will compare 70 patients who receive colchicine plus a special surgical technique with 70 patients who receive standard care. The goal is to see if colchicine reduces the risk of this common post-surgery complication.
