First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 29 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a structured brain-training program can help breast cancer patients manage memory and thinking problems caused by chemotherapy, often called 'chemobrain.' About 75 women recently diagnosed with breast cancer and starting treatment will take part. Half will receive a booklet with brain exercises to do at home, while the other half will get only general health advice. Researchers will compare changes in thinking skills, memory, anxiety, sleep, and quality of life after four months.
