First seen Apr 18, 2026 · Last updated Jun 15, 2026 · Updated 6 times

Summary

This study tests whether combining gentle electrical brain stimulation (tDCS) with computer-based memory games can improve thinking and memory in adults over 60 with recurrent depression. Participants will be assigned to one of three groups, receiving either active or placebo stimulation along with specific or general cognitive training. The goal is to see if this non-drug approach boosts brain function and eases cognitive symptoms.
