New study tests daily checks and specialist referrals to save stroke Survivors' minds
NCT ID NCT07610291
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jul 14, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study tests whether a set of simple treatments—daily blood pressure checks, dietitian visits, hearing and vision tests, and mood screening—can help preserve thinking and memory after a stroke. About 50 adults who recently had a mild stroke will either receive this care bundle plus standard care, or standard care alone. Researchers will check if the bundle is practical and if it leads to better cognitive scores after 3 months.
