NCT ID NCT07286448
First seen Jun 26, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tests whether a home-based digital cognitive-training program called RICORDO can help people aged 50 and older with mild cognitive impairment or subjective cognitive decline better manage their own health. Participants will be randomly assigned to use RICORDO on a tablet or follow a lifestyle education program for five weeks. The main goal is to see if RICORDO improves patients' ability to actively participate in their care, along with thinking skills, daily function, and mood.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
RICORDO (digital cognitive-training program delivered via tablet)
What this could lead to
If it works, this could offer a convenient home-based way to help people with mild cognitive impairment stay more engaged in their own health and daily life.
What could go wrong
This is a small, early-stage trial with only 100 participants, so results may not apply to everyone. The program requires regular effort, and improvements may be modest or not last long-term.
