NCT ID NCT06723262

First seen May 08, 2026 · Last updated May 08, 2026

Summary

This study tests a new way to program cochlear implants (called tonotopic fitting) to see if it helps adults with hearing loss understand speech better in noisy places. Twenty-five French-speaking adults who have had a cochlear implant for six months will compare the new setting with the standard one. The goal is to improve everyday listening, especially in challenging environments.
