This study looked at two different ways of giving the antibiotic cloxacillin to treat bone and joint infections caused by Staphylococcus aureus bacteria. Twelve patients received the drug both as a steady drip (continuous infusion) and as short doses (intermittent infusion) to see if the amount of drug in the blood was similar.
