Summary
This study tested whether giving a mild brain stimulation (tDCS) when patients are more alert can boost their awareness. Sixteen adults in a minimally conscious state took part. Researchers used EEG brainwaves to pick the best time of day for stimulation, then measured changes in consciousness and brain activity.
