This study tested a classroom-based program called SterkWerk, designed to promote a prosocial (helpful and cooperative) climate among children in grades 5-8 (ages 8-12). Over 2,300 children participated, and researchers measured changes in prosocial behavior, social skills, and classroom relationships.
