First seen Jan 18, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study tests whether a special type of acupressure, given at times that match the body's natural daily rhythms, can improve sleep in older adults living in nursing homes. Eighty people aged 60 and older will receive either this circadian-based acupressure or a fake version for four weeks. Researchers will measure sleep quality, anxiety, and stress before and after treatment.
