Summary

This early-phase study tested whether adding the drug cilengitide to standard radiation is safe for children and young adults with a rare, aggressive brain tumor called DIPG. The main goal was to find the highest safe dose. 32 participants were enrolled. The study did not aim to cure the disease, but to gather safety information for future trials.
