Summary

This study aims to find out why some people with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) continue to have abdominal pain even when their disease is not active. Researchers will follow newly diagnosed patients over time, collecting questionnaires, blood and stool samples, and heart rate data. The goal is to identify risk factors and build models to predict who will develop chronic pain.
