Summary

This study surveys 1,000 adults who had heart surgery at UZ Leuven to find out how many develop chronic pain lasting more than 3 months. Researchers will also compare pain rates between different incision types and surgeries, and measure how pain affects daily activities and quality of life. Participants answer questions by phone at 3 months and again at 1 year if needed.
