Summary
This study tested a program where parents and children prepare together before surgery to see if it lowers children's anxiety. Fifty children aged 5 to 12 having scheduled surgery took part. The program aimed to help parents be present and supportive during anesthesia induction. The main goal was to measure the child's anxiety level at that time.
