Can a tiny sensor help new insulin users avoid the hospital?
NCT ID NCT05548205
Summary
This study is testing if wearing a continuous glucose monitor (CGM) for two weeks after leaving the hospital helps people who are new to insulin manage their diabetes better. Researchers will compare the CGM group to a group using traditional finger-prick blood sugar checks. The main goal is to see which method leads to better long-term blood sugar control and fewer trips back to the hospital or ER.
