First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study compares two ways to check blood sugar in adults with diabetes who are starting insulin for the first time when leaving the hospital. Half will wear a continuous glucose monitor (CGM) for two weeks, and the other half will use standard finger-stick testing. The goal is to see if the CGM leads to better blood sugar control and fewer complications over three months.
