First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 30 times

Summary

This study tests whether using a continuous glucose monitor (CGM) instead of standard fingerstick checks leads to better outcomes for pregnant women with type 2 diabetes and their babies. 180 women will be randomly assigned to use a CGM or continue with daily fingerstick testing. The main goal is to see if CGM use reduces the number of babies born large for their gestational age.
