Can a tiny sensor protect newborns from dangerous low blood sugar?

NCT ID NCT07462793

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looks at whether using a continuous glucose monitor (CGM) can help find and manage low blood sugar in newborns whose mothers had insulin-treated gestational diabetes. About 120 babies will be monitored for the first 72 hours after birth. The goal is to see if CGM catches more low blood sugar episodes than standard care.
