First seen May 01, 2026 · Last updated Jun 10, 2026 · Updated 7 times

Summary

This study tested whether continuous glucose monitors (CGMs) can help track blood sugar levels in hospitalized adults with diabetes. Forty patients wore a CGM device during their hospital stay to see how well it detects dangerously low or high blood sugar events. The goal was to gather evidence on whether CGMs could improve safety and care for diabetes patients in the hospital.
