See your sugar, control your sugar: new study tests CGM alone
NCT ID NCT07298850
First seen Jan 03, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study looks at whether simply seeing real-time blood sugar readings on a continuous glucose monitor (CGM) can help people with type 2 diabetes who do not use insulin improve their blood sugar control. About 120 participants will wear a CGM for two weeks: the first week they cannot see their readings, and the second week they can. Researchers will compare the time spent in a healthy blood sugar range between the two weeks to see if just seeing the data makes a difference.
