First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 12 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a blood test that analyzes DNA fragments (cfDNA fragmentomics) can accurately tell if lung nodules found on CT scans are cancerous or harmless. Researchers will enroll 240 adults with small to medium-sized lung nodules. If successful, this noninvasive approach could reduce unnecessary biopsies and surgeries.
