First seen Jan 10, 2026 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study watches 100 pregnant women having planned C-sections to see if the time it takes to deliver the baby changes the baby's cord blood pH and base excess. It compares women who get general anesthesia versus spinal anesthesia. The goal is to learn how delivery timing might affect newborn health, without changing any treatments.
