Summary
Medulloblastoma is a rare but serious childhood brain tumor. Standard treatments can harm the developing brain, and some tumors stop responding to therapy. This study tests whether CDK4/6 inhibitors, drugs already used for breast cancer, can slow or stop medulloblastoma cells grown in the lab as 3D models called organoids. Researchers will compare the genetic makeup of these organoids with the original tumors to identify markers that predict sensitivity or resistance to the drugs.
