Summary

This study looks at whether a follow-up CT scan of the heart's arteries (coronary CT angiography) one year after stent placement can reduce major heart problems like heart attacks or death compared to usual care. It will enroll 3,500 high-risk patients who have had stents placed for blocked arteries. The goal is to see if early detection of new blockages via CT leads to better outcomes.
