Summary

This study is testing whether a compound from cannabis called cannabidiol (CBD) can help people stop smoking tobacco. Researchers will give oral CBD to 50 adults who smoke at least 10 cigarettes daily and want to quit. The goal is to see if CBD increases short-term tobacco abstinence and understand how it affects smoking behavior.
