NCT ID NCT04398719
First seen May 07, 2026 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study looked at how a single dose of cannabidiol (CBD) changes brain inflammation and pain response in 28 healthy adults aged 18–55. Participants received either CBD or a placebo, and researchers used brain scans and a mild skin irritant to measure effects. The goal was to understand how CBD works in the brain, not to treat any disease.
