This trial tests whether a case-based collaborative learning program helps newly graduated intensive care nurses better recognize heart rhythm disturbances (arrhythmias) and improves their attitudes toward patient safety. Novice nurses with less than a year of experience in coronary or cardiovascular surgery ICUs are randomly assigned to either receive the extra training or follow the usual orientation.
