First seen Feb 06, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 12 times

Summary

This study will follow about 2,700 women aged 45-75 who are going through menopause and have a higher risk of heart disease. Researchers want to see if newer hormone replacement therapies (like creams, gels, or sprays) can lower the chance of heart attacks, strokes, or other heart problems. The goal is to find safer ways to manage menopause symptoms without raising heart risks.
