Summary
This study tests a new ultrasound technique called shear wave elastography to measure stiffness in the wrist nerves and tissues of people with carpal tunnel syndrome. Researchers will compare these measurements with standard tests before and after treatment (surgery or steroid injection). The goal is to see if this ultrasound method can better track recovery. About 20 adults with symptoms in one wrist will take part.
