Can simple hand exercises beat wrist splints for carpal tunnel relief?

NCT ID NCT07359274

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looks at whether adding special hand exercises (nerve gliding or bone mobilization) to a standard wrist splint helps people with mild-to-moderate carpal tunnel syndrome more than using the splint alone. About 93 adults will be assigned to one of three groups and treated for four weeks. Researchers will measure pain, hand function, and nerve changes using questionnaires and ultrasound.
