AI eye on arteries: 15,000-Patient study tests smarter heart care

Summary
This study will see if an artificial intelligence program called CaRi-Heart can find inflammation in heart arteries from standard CT scans. Researchers want to know if this extra information helps doctors make better treatment decisions, like starting medications or referring to a heart specialist. About 15,000 adults getting a heart CT scan will have their images analyzed at no extra cost.
