New study tests therapy for caregivers of transplant patients

Summary

This study tests a 6-session counseling program called BMT-CARE for caregivers of people receiving a bone marrow transplant. The goal is to see if it improves the caregiver's quality of life compared to standard support. The study will enroll 800 caregivers and also look at what helps or hinders using the program in real hospitals.
