SOS for stressed parents: new study tests mental health lifeline for caregivers

Summary
This study is testing whether a simple mental health screening and support program can work for parents and caregivers of children with chronic illnesses. One hundred caregivers will complete a mental health questionnaire during their child's hospital appointment and receive information and support resources. Researchers will follow up to see if the process is helpful and practical in a busy clinic setting.
