NCT ID NCT07320222
First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This pilot study tests whether a personalized exercise and education program, given before and after surgery, can help melanoma patients regain strength and function. Thirty adults with melanoma who are scheduled for surgery after chemotherapy will take part. The main goal is to see if such a program is feasible and acceptable to patients.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
rehabilitation program (exercise education, physiotherapy, tailored exercise plan)
What this could lead to
If it works, this could point toward a standard rehab program that helps melanoma patients recover faster and stronger after surgery.
What could go wrong
This is a very small pilot study (30 people) testing feasibility, not effectiveness. It may not show clear benefits or be too early to guide treatment.
