New program aims to bridge cultural gaps in online therapy
NCT ID NCT06625502
Summary
This study is testing a new training program called the CARE framework, designed to help therapists build stronger, more trusting relationships with patients who come from different cultural backgrounds. The research involves 8 therapists and 40 Asian American patients receiving 15 weeks of online therapy. The goal is to see if this training helps patients stay in treatment longer and improves their therapy outcomes, particularly for groups that often drop out of mental health care.
