Summary
This study is collecting blood and tissue samples from 500 patients undergoing heart surgery to create a research biobank. The goal is to help scientists better understand how heart diseases develop and progress. This knowledge could lead to improved treatments in the future, but participants won't receive direct medical benefits from the sample collection.
