New 'Living Drug' trial offers hope for Tough-to-Treat cancers
NCT ID NCT07179692
Summary
This early-stage study is testing a new type of treatment called CAR-T cell therapy for people with advanced cancers that have a specific marker (CEA) and have stopped responding to standard treatments like chemotherapy. The main goals are to find a safe dose and see if the treatment can help control the cancer. Researchers will test the therapy given in three different ways: into a vein, into the chest cavity, or into the abdominal cavity.
