Scientists supercharge Kids' own cells to battle cancer

NCT ID NCT07148050

Summary

This early-stage study is testing a new type of cancer treatment for children and young adults with hard-to-treat solid tumors. Doctors take a patient's own immune cells, genetically modify them in a lab to better recognize and attack cancer, and then infuse them back into the body. The main goals are to see if this process is safe and to find the best dose, with 21 participants expected.
