Supercharged cord blood cells target tough blood cancers

Summary
This study is testing a new cell therapy for patients whose blood cancers have returned or not responded to standard treatments. Researchers are giving patients specially engineered immune cells, called NK cells, which come from donated cord blood. The goal is to see if these modified cells, given along with a short course of chemotherapy, are safe and can help control the cancer.
