Camera pill study aims to sharpen gut bleeding detection

NCT ID NCT07481591

Summary

This study looks back at past medical records to see how well a tiny, swallowable camera (capsule endoscopy) works for finding the source of gut bleeding. Researchers will review data from about 350 patients who had the test at one hospital between 2021 and 2025. The goal is to measure how often the camera finds the problem, how long the test takes, and how safe it is, without needing any new tests from patients.
