Summary
This study used ultrasound to check the stomach contents of 40 people who use cannabis before they had surgery. The goal was to see if cannabis use delays stomach emptying, which could affect safety during anesthesia. Researchers measured how much food or liquid was still in the stomach after patients had fasted.
