Summary

This study will test whether cannabis can reduce the severity of opioid withdrawal and make opioid use safer. One hundred adults with opioid use disorder will live in a hospital for about six weeks. Researchers will give them cannabis and a small dose of opioids to see how their bodies react. The goal is to understand if cannabis can help manage withdrawal symptoms and reduce the risks of opioid use.
