Summary
This study aims to understand the immediate relationship between cannabis use, withdrawal, and mental health in teenagers. Researchers will follow 200 adolescents (ages 12-18) who use cannabis frequently and have depression symptoms. Using smartphone surveys throughout the day, the study will track how cannabis affects mood and suicidal thoughts over 10 weeks, with some participants asked to stop using cannabis to study withdrawal effects.
