Summary

This study aimed to understand how using legal cannabis affects alcohol drinking, cravings, and the connection between the gut and brain. Researchers observed 77 adults who regularly used both alcohol and cannabis over one month. They collected blood and stool samples and measured drinking behavior, cravings, and thinking skills to see if cannabis use changed these factors.
