Scientists map Cancer's secrets in blood and tumors

NCT ID NCT03712566

Summary

This study aims to understand how certain advanced cancers change during treatment. Researchers will collect blood and tumor samples from 39 patients with specific types of recurrent or metastatic squamous cell cancers (head/neck, esophagus, anal canal) who are starting chemotherapy or immunotherapy. By analyzing genetic, immune, and imaging data over time, the study seeks to learn what biological changes are linked to how well the treatment works.
