Scientists probe why cancer drugs turn the body against itself
NCT ID NCT04656873
Summary
This study aims to build a database to help researchers understand the autoimmune-like side effects that can occur from powerful cancer immunotherapy drugs. It will collect health data and samples from 32 adult cancer patients receiving these treatments. The goal is to learn who is at risk for these side effects and how to manage them, so future patients can get the cancer-fighting benefits with fewer problems.
