Summary
This study looked at whether sleeping at least an hour more each night for a week can help college students handle pain better. 36 healthy young adults wore sleep and heart monitors and took pressure and cold pain tests. The goal was to see if more sleep raises pain tolerance and threshold. Results could show a simple way to improve pain response.
