First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This phase III trial tests a therapy called CALM-TF for women with advanced ovarian cancer who experience traumatic stress. 300 participants will either receive 3-6 sessions of this trauma-focused therapy or standard care. Researchers will measure stress, depression, and quality of life over 6 months to see if the therapy helps.
What this could mean

Active substance
Trauma-Focused Managing Cancer and Living Meaningfully (CALM-TF) psychotherapy
What this could lead to
If it works, this could provide an effective therapy to reduce traumatic stress and improve quality of life for women with advanced ovarian cancer.
What could go wrong
