NCT ID NCT07240506
First seen Nov 21, 2025 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study looked at whether chewing caffeinated gum could help female volleyball players jump higher. Ten professional players took part, each trying both a caffeine gum and a placebo gum. The caffeine gum improved one type of jump (countermovement jump) but not others. The findings suggest caffeine gum might give a small performance boost in sports that need quick, explosive power.
