AI vs. dye: can a computer match the gold standard for lynch syndrome screening?
NCT ID NCT05963191
First seen Sep 30, 2025 · Last updated Jun 17, 2026 · Updated 37 times
Summary
This study compares an artificial intelligence system (CAD-EYE) to the standard dye-spray method for finding precancerous polyps during colonoscopy in people with Lynch syndrome, a genetic condition that raises colorectal cancer risk. About 272 participants will be randomly assigned to one of the two methods. The goal is to see if the AI system is just as effective, which could make screening faster and easier.
